Johnny Depp Sued For Attacking Crew Member on Biggie Smalls Movie Set

Johnny Depp is reportedly being sued for attacking a crew member

In the movie, Depp plays the real LAPD detective Russell Poole - who investigated the murder of Biggie Smalls.

Brooks, who worked as a location manager on the film about the investigation of the Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur murders, filed the suit against Depp Friday in California Superior Court.

Gregg "Rocky" Brooks filed suit against Depp on July 6 accusing the actor of "inflicting emotional distress", according to the Los Angeles County court docket viewed by Page Six on Monday.

MILLHISER: Kavanaugh nomination a win for Republicans - and a blow to democracy
Rand Paul of Kentucky had expressed concerns but tweeted that he looked forward to meeting with Kavanaugh "with an open mind". On Monday, Trump phoned retiring Justice Kennedy to inform him that his former law clerk would be nominated to fill his seat.

However, when things weren't going to plan, this is when Brooks had to inform Depp, who reportedly "reeked of alcohol", that he only had one more shot. When the crew member did not react, Depp allegedly "continued to scream and berate him in front of a set full of people until Depp's own bodyguards physically removed Depp from the scene". "You have no right to tell me what to do".

Johnny was reportedly working with two of his friends on the scene in downtown Los Angeles when Rocky approached Johnny to tell him he was on a time crunch.

Depp is also now facing a lawsuit from two former bodyguards, Eugene Arreola and Miguel Sanchez, who allege that, in their assignment protecting Depp between 2016 and 2018, they "found themselves in situations that required more than what a bodyguard would be expected to do". Depp allegedly yelled, "I will give you $100,000 to punch me in the face right now!" Brooks also claims he was sacked when he refused to sign papers saying he wouldn't sue.

He is seeking unspecified damages, and Johnny Depp's rep has so far remained silent.

"City of Lies" is due for release in September.

Depp opened up about his dire financial situation in a candid interview with Rolling Stone magazine last month, revealing he fell into a deep depression in 2016 as his money issues worsened, all while fighting allegations of domestic abuse during his bitter divorce from his The Rum Diary co-star Amber Heard.
