Putin: 2 Men Suspected by United Kingdom for Spy Poisoning Not Criminals

Russian authorities have identified the two people suspected by London of poisoning Russian ex-spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia in Salisbury, President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday.

British authorities charged Ruslan Boshirov and Alexander Petrov this month with the March attack on Sergei Skripal and his adult daughter, Yulia, in Salisbury.

Putin, speaking at the Eastern Economic Forum in the Russian port city of Valdivostok, said that Russia had found the two men, there was nothing criminal about them and that he hoped they would come forward and tell the world their own story. I hope that they will emerge in public themselves and tell about themselves. This would be best for everyone. There is nothing particularly special or criminal here'. "We'll see in the nearest future".

Putin's remarks appeared to be a denial that the men worked for Russia's military intelligence service, the Main Directorate, commonly called the GRU. After being discharged from Salisbury District Hospital, the two have remained isolated in a secret place, the Russian diplomat noted. They're just a couple of guys, you know?

She revealed that she learned " Work It " in 2003 to compete in a karaoke competition then, and soon it became her go-to song. Halsey also performed the song and was surprised by Elliott on the stage. "Mary is one of the sweetest souls I met".

The head of center-left opposition party Fair Russia says Moscow should sever diplomatic relations with London over recent unfounded accusations regarding the Skripal case - as he believes there is no scope to settle the dispute.

Prime Minister Theresa May said intelligence showed the poisonings were state-sponsored by Russian Federation.

Putin also said that if the poison used were really a chemical warfare agent, death would have been instantaneous.

Now Britain's near blanket surveillance coverage is being hailed as key to tracking a pair of Russian men who stand accused of attempted murder in the March attack using the nerve agent novichok. Scotland Yard released photos of the two men, who flew from the U.K.to Moscow hours after the Skripals fell ill.

A British inquiry concluded that Litvinenko had been killed at the behest of the Russian state, probably with the president's knowledge. Claiming that the substance used in the attack had been a Novichok-class nerve agent developed in the Soviet Union, London rushed to accuse Russian Federation of being involved in the incident.

But a European arrest warrant has been obtained in case they travel to the EU, the BBC said.

Moscow also questioned the origins of the nerve agent involved in the attack, saying it was not proven that the substance was developed by Russian Federation and arguing that other countries, including Britain, had the capacity.
