Joe Kennedy III to endorse Elizabeth Warren at presidential announcement

Trump made a Trail of Tears reference when mocking Elizabeth Warren and the internet is not here for

Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren is officially launching her presidential campaign Saturday morning, over a month after she announced an exploratory committee to test the viability of a bid for the White House.

The progressive darling, smarting from a week of hard questions and another apology for calling her race "American Indian", will speak on the steps of Everett Mills, the site of the 1912 Bread and Roses Strike, in Lawrence, Massachusetts.

She'll be introduced by Congressman Joe Kennedy III, a fellow Massachusetts Democrat who will also endorse her candidacy, according to a source familiar with his plans.

"We are here to say enough is enough", said Warren in her remarks. "He is just the latest and most extreme symptom of what has gone wrong in America-a product of a rigged system that props up the rich and powerful and kicks dirt on everyone else".

Now It Can Blur The Background Behind You
A few months after adding background blurring to its Teams tool, Microsoft has brought the same option to Skype on the desktop. It constantly analyzes the surrounding and the movements of the person in the calling screen to keep the background blur .

The campaign's decision to stage the senator's first campaign rally in Lawrence, a former industrial mill town, highlights the key constituency groups she hopes to appeal to in her campaign, including immigrants, women, working class families and union members.

It's a high-profile endorsement for Warren at a time when the vast majority of big name Democrats are hanging back and waiting to see how the ever-expanding field shakes out. One of Donald Trump's favorite targets for verbal abuse, she's sure to draw quite a bit of attention in an increasingly crowded Democrat field.

A Monmouth University poll showed Warren get a boost in national support after she announced her exploratory campaign at the end of a year ago. The backing could prove valuable for Warren, given his status as a rising young Democratic star and his friendship with one of her potential 2020 rivals, former Rep. Beto O'Rourke, D-Texas. "And that is why I stand here today: to declare that I am a candidate for President of the United States of America". This is the fight of our lives, the fight to build an America where dreams are possible, an America that works for everyone.

Warren faced renewed criticism this week over her controversial Native American heritage claims after the Washington Post reported that she listed her race as "American Indian" on a Texas State Bar registration card in 1986. But I want to be clear.

There were some in Ms Warren's campaign kick-off crowd who expressed concern that her struggles to explain her past claims of Native American heritage could make her vulnerable to attack.

Speaking from Washington, Al Jazeera's correspondent Heidi Zhou-Castro said that as popular as Warren's wealth reform proposals may be with the liberal base, "she does have quite a liability with her claims of Native American ancestry".

However, when all is said and done, almost two dozen Democrats are expected to enter the fray, with others like Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, former Vice President Joe Biden, Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown, Oregon Senator Jeff Merkley, California Congressman Eric Swalwell and former Texas Congressman Beto O'Rourke having signaled they're considering a run. Kennedy was a student of Warren when she was a professor at Harvard University. She recently unveiled a proposal that pushes the frontier to a new place: directly taxing the very rich.

Frustration grows as migrant caravan stuck in Mexico shelter
When Trump discussed El Paso's past, he sounded like he was describing Ciudad Juarez across the border in Northern Mexico. These migrants are camped near Eagle Pass, Texas at an unused maquiladora in the Mexican city of Piedra Negras.
